Deutsche Telekom recognized by Google as Gold Verified Peering Provider

It is our pleasure to announce that we are enrolled to Google’s Verified Peering Provider program. The Google-recognized badging program for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) offers Google customers an alternative to direct peering for optimized public Google connectivity. The Deutsche Telekom Verified Peering Provider gold badge awarded as part of the enrollment demonstrates our diverse, deep and reliable connectivity to Google.

Customers using Deutsche Telekom as their Verified Peering Provider no longer need to meet Google’s peering requirements, leaving the complexities of peering arrangements to us once the relevant IP Transit or Dedicated Internet Access is set up. As a Gold Verified Peering Provider, we ensure high availability by verifying metro redundant connectivity to Google. We also provide enterprise-grade connectivity, enabling customers to connect to Google through internet products designed for enterprises. This included accessing Google with or without the need for border gateway protocol or an autonomous system number.

Our Verified Peering Provider status qualifies us to offer customers dedicated private Google connectivity, leveraging the same Google fibers that carry all Google services, as well as provide access to all Google services reachable over the internet. Access to Google’s Cloud services includes Workspace, Cloud APIs, Cloud VPN, Google Public IPs, Network Tiers, and more.

"As a Gold Verified Peering Provider, our customers can count on the Deutsche Telekom global backbone to reliably connect to Google cloud with complete confidence,” said Matthias Maurer, Head of  PM IP Services at Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier. “Being enrolled as a Google Gold Verified Peering Provider independently validates to our customers that our network meets the highest standards for performance, availability, and security. We are looking forward to offering our customers a first-class experience when connecting to Google Cloud."

“We're committed to providing customers with the best possible enterprise-grade connectivity solutions,” said Bikash Koley, Vice President, Google Global Networking. “That’s why we're excited to welcome Deutsche Telekom to the Verified Peering Provider Program, which enables us to offer our mutual customers a robust, reliable connection to Google’s services. We look forward to working with Deutsche Telekom to provide them with the best possible service.”
