Two Great Wins for IBU at the CC-Global Awards!
IBU has done it again! This time we won two hotly contested awards at the CC-Global Awards gala on June 18th in Berlin. The first was for ‘CEE Regional Operator of the Year’ and the second for ‘Best Security Solution Provider’. We were up against stiff competition, but the judges were impressed with our vast portfolio of solutions to improve communication and security in the CEE region.
Over the past months, IBU has greatly expanded services in many different areas. One of our proudest accomplishments has been the European Aviation Network (EAN), which will reinvent Wi-Fi in the skies across Europe. This is the first integrated LTE/satellite connectivity network of its kind and provides unprecedented broadband access to passengers. In addition, we have enlarged our already comprehensive 360° Defense Strategy. It now includes a unique MPLS-based Mobile IP-VPN service for safe access to data from even hard-to-reach or temporary locations.
In the fight against fraud, IBU has launched a new SS7 Firewall to guard against attacks targeting SS7 protocols. And, to also benefit the A2P market, we developed SMS+ Protect, which, as the name states, protects against messaging fraud.
As always, IBU keeps a close eye on future developments, which is why we have ramped up our support for the IoT industry and its need for 24/7, cross-border access. To that end, we are continually upgrading our IPX platform and streamlining our systems. Other new developments are our Secure Cloud Connect for quick connection to the main CSPs in Europe, as well as our Universal Wi-Fi Access, which gives MNOs the ability to offer Wi-Fi access across DT’s global Wi-Fi footprint.
